I’m JJ Maldonado – Founder and CEO of Primus CRM.

For a decade, I worked inside dealerships across Canada and the United States as an automotive CRM consultant. I stayed in this industry because it’s where I found my calling: helping businesses operate better, sell more, and build teams that perform. The dealership world is fast, competitive, and built on trust – and it felt familiar to me from day one. I’ve always thrived in environments where effort shows, results matter, and people respect those who deliver.

Over the years, something became clear: dealerships weren’t just buying a CRM. They were buying outcomes – speed, discipline, accountability, and a process their teams could actually follow. And too often, the problem was a combination of both process gaps and the software itself. Many legacy CRM platforms are built on outdated technology, with interfaces that feel cluttered, inefficient, and difficult for teams to navigate. That’s why I built Primus CRM.
